Movement Ecology, Flight Behavior & Radar Aeroecology

I am a behavioral ecologist working with animal movements in the aerial habitat, animal migration, and radar aeroecology. I am a researcher at Lund University, where I study large scale patterns of flight behavior and animal migration, mainly using data from networks of weather surveillance radars.

My current work focuses on using weather radars to monitor animal movement at large scales, disruptions to animal migration, bird movements in extreme conditions, and the conflicts that arise when birds and humans share aerial habitat.

My research is funded by the European Research Council (grant agreement 101231135) and FORMAS, the Swedish Research Council for Sustainable Development.
